Batuan, Masbate vice mayor gunned down in Manila

The vice mayor of Batuan, Masbate was gunned down in Sampaloc, Manila on Wednesday morning.

Police identified the victim as Charlie Yuson III. Those injured were named as one Wilfredo Pineda and Alberto Alforte who were all taken to UST Hospital for treatment.

Authorities said the victims were having their breakfast in front of a certain house along VG Cruz Street when the unidentified suspects fired shots at them.

The suspects immediately escaped using a gray van with plate number ACM 8804.
