Manila cops arrest Chinese who spat inside fast food restaurant

The Chinese man who gained notoriety in social media for spitting inside the premises of a fast food restaurant in the city of Manila was arrested on Saturday, the city's information office said Sunday.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, the Manila Information Office said 35-year-old Jinxiong Cai was arrested by the police special reaction team.

Jinxiong was arrested for grave scandal, unjust vexation, and malicious mischief under the Revised Penal Code.

Videos circulating in social media show the Chinese man arguing with the security guard of a fast food restaurant and later on spitting on the floor of the establishment. —Julia Mari Ornedo/LBG, GMA News
