No new COVID-19 cases in Makati City, total remains at 160 - DOH


The Makati City government on Monday reported that, based on information from the Department of Health (DOH), the number of persons who tested positive to the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) remains at 160 for the second day in a row.

And, 132 cases have been turned over to the Makati Health Department.

There is one death recorded, bringing the total to 10 deaths.

There are two patients who have recovered from the disease, bringing the number of recoveries to 16.

Meanwhile, there are 593 Persons Under investigation (PUI) and 286 Persons Under Monitoring (PUM).

The barangay with the most number of COVID-19 positive cases is Poblacion with 20, followed by San Lorenzo with 14 cases and Pio del Pilar with nine cases.

Makati City Mayor Abby Binay reminds citizens to remain at home and to avoid unnecessary trips to curb the spread of the disease.
