Pasig City now has 6 'active' COVID-19 testing booths in their SuperHealth Centers


Vico Sotto announced some good news coming from Pasig City on Sunday.

On Twitter, the young Pasig mayor shared that his city now has six COVID-19 testing booths "strategically placed in our Super Health Centers."

 

 

While Pasig will continue with the distribution of social amelioration, Vico has his eyes set on ending quarantine. Which is why he is ramping up his Pasig's capability to test.

"If we want quarantine to end fast — TESTING TESING TESTING," he wrote, all caps his.

In his tweet, the innovative Mayor of Pasig thanked organizations which helped them with the booths: Deecon Electronics and Dee Hwa Liong Academy.

All through the quarantine, Vico been proactive in finding solutions to the problems of his constituents. The city quickly set up a community kitchen for medical frontliners, they repurposed the bike share initiative to address the transportation problem brought about by the ECQ. The city also partnered with one of its drive-in hotels, turning it into a quarantine facility center for COVID-19 patients. 

Last week, it was able to identify over P1B in cash to help families not identified by the DSWD in its social amelioration program. — LA, GMA News
