DLSU-Cavite now a COVID-19 testing facility -DOH

The De La Salle University in Cavite has been given a certification to be a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) facility, according to the Department of Health (DOH).

This brings the total number of licensed Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) laboratories to 24.

As of Friday, the DOH has tested a total of 142,663 unique individuals.

Of these, 127,041 patients or 90 percent have tested negative while 14,076 or 10 percent have tested positive.

The COVID-19 death toll in the country surpassed the 700 mark with eight new deaths, bringing the total to 704 while the nationwide tally of confirmed cases climbed to 10,610 with 1,842 recoveries. -MDM, GMA News
