Valenzuela City COVID-19 cases rise to 141

The Valenzuela City government on Sunday reported two more coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients, bringing the total confirmed cases in the city to 141.

According to the city government, VC140 is a 52-year-old female and is a relative of VC100.

Meanwhile, VC141 is a 39-year-old female.

As of Sunday morning, the city government said a total of 1,438 test results were already released.

Of the 1,438 results, 139 tested positive, while 1,299 turned out negative.

Nationwide, COVID-19 cases reached 10,610 with 704 fatalities and 1,842 recoveries. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/LBG, GMA News
