Caloocan barangay to be placed under total lockdown

Mayor Oscar Malapitan placed Barangay 156 in Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City under a three-day lockdown starting on Wednesday, May 13, due to the high number of COVID-19 cases in the area.

According to a Tuesday 24 Oras News Alert, Barangay 156 will be under total lockdown from 1 a.m. of May 13 (Wednesday) until May 15 (Friday) to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

There were 21 COVID-19 cases in the barangay.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 climbed to 11,086, including 726 deaths and 1,999 recoveries. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/DVM, GMA News
