Under Taguig’s MECQ guidelines, joggers may go out only at certain hours

Taguig City has released guidelines to be followed as the city shifted to modified enhanced community quarantine on Saturday.

Joggers aged 21 to 59 years old will be allowed to exercise or workout outside their homes from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

However, only one member of a household at a time will be allowed.

Joggers must bring their unified quarantine pass, wear face masks at all times, and observe at least five meters distance from other individuals.

The local government unit said people must stay only within their barangay of residence when exercising.

Persons below 21 and aged 60 years old and above, pregnant women and people with immunodeficiency, co-morbidities or other health risks will not be allowed to go out of their homes to exercise or work out.

Pools, gyms, fitness studios, and sports facilities will remain closed.

Taguig City and the rest of Metro Manila as well as Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga including Angeles City, Zambales and Laguna were placed under MECQ starting May 16 which will last until May 31.
