Pregnant patient fibs about medical history, causes another Ospital ng Malabon lockdown

The second floor of the Ospital ng Malabon is closed until Monday for disinfection procedures after a pregnant woman from a barangay under hard lockdown in Caloocan City tested positive for COVID-19.

Bubuksan po ‘yun sa Lunes at dini-disinfect po ngayon,” Malabon Public Information Office chief Bong Padua said in a 24 Oras report by Mark Salazar on Wednesday.

The pregnant woman, a resident of Barangay 12 in Caloocan, was found positive for COVID-19 via a rapid diagnostic test.

Authorities said there is no confirmatory test for her results yet.

‘Wala kong nararamdaman.’

Barangay 12 has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Caloocan with 41.

The Malabon government said it is mulling charges against the woman.

“Since it is emergency, pinapayagan siyempre lumabas ‘yung ganiyang cases na lalo na’t manganganak pa…
