300 frontliners in Las Piñas get COVID-19 test

Around 300 frontliners in Las Piñas City on Wednesday underwent a swab and rapid test for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), according to Luisito Santos' report on Super Radyo dzBB.

Las Piñas City Health Office chief Dr. Ferdinand Eusebio said this was part of efforts of the local government to ensure the health of frontliners.

Among those who got tested were social workers from the City Social Worker and Development Office, day-care teachers who took part in the distribution of the social amelioration subsidy, and personnel of the City Environment and National Resources Office.

Meanwhile, Mayor Imelda Aguilar assured that COVID-19 mass testing in the city continues.

As of present, more than 2,000 individuals have taken swab testing while over 700 have taken rapid testing.
