Ospital ng Tondo resumes operation —Manila PIO

The Ospital ng Tondo resumed its regular operation on Monday, according to the Manila City's Public Information Office. 

The Manila PIO said the hospital was closed from May 11 to 24 for the conduct of terminal cleaning, disinfection, pest control, and rearrangement of the facility for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-related operations.

Citing data from the hospital's management, the Manila PIO said the number of  healthcare workers who were infected with COVID-19 in the hospital has reached 13.

Three of them have already recovered. 

All the infected personnel are on quarantine, the Manila PIO said. 

Earlier, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said the closure would allow frontliners who might have contracted the disease to undergo quarantine and medication. —KG, GMA News
