Valenzuela City COVID-19 cases now at 251

Another health worker has contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Valenzuela City, the local government said Monday.

According to the Valenzuela City's Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit, the patient is a 41-year-old female who worked at a barangay health station.

Her case brings to 251 the total number of infections in the city.

Of the number, 57 have already recovered and 12 have died.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 rose to 14,035 with 868 deaths and 3,249 recoveries. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/RSJ, GMA News
