COVID-19 cases in Quezon City reach 2,127

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Quezon City totaled 2,127 as of Friday night, the Quezon City local government said.

Of this number, 1,963 have complete addresses in Quezon City.

The QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices has validated 1,806 of the total cases.

The active COVID-19 cases as of Friday night were at 788.

Meanwhile, 36 new recoveries were reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 841.

The death toll on the other hand increased to 177 after two new deaths were reported.

 

As of Friday night, some areas in the area remain under 14-day special concern lockdown. The said lockdown started on May 13 due to the number and clustering of COVID-19 cases.

The said areas still under special concern lockdown are:

  • Sitio Militar in Brgy. Bahay Toro
  • Vargas Compound-Adelfa Metro Heights-Abanay and Ancop Canada in Brgy. Culiat
  • Lower Gulod in Brgy. Sauyo
  • 318 Dakila St., 2nd Alley Kalayaan B and Masbate St. in Brgy. Batasan Hills
  • Victory Avenue, ROTC Hunters, BMA Avenue and Agno St. in Brgy. Tatalon
  • Certeza Compound, Barangay Culiat
  • Alley 2, Homart Road, Barangay Baesa
  • Victory Avenue, ROTC Hunters, BMA Avenue and Agno St. in Brgy. Tatalon
