COVID-19 cases in Quezon City reach 2,376

The number of COVID-19 cases in Quezon City reached 2,376 as of 7 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Department of Health figures, the local government said.

Those confirmed to have COVID-19 and with complete addresses in Quezon City numbered 2,273.

Meanwhile, the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices has validated 2,198 cases.

The number of active COVID-19 cases totalled 870.

Those who recovered reached 1,134, up by 51.

The death toll reached 194.

Meanwhile, the local government said it has given financial assistance through its Kalingang QC program to more than 20,000 senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and solo parents as of June 6. —KG, GMA News
