Quezon City COVID-19 cases now at 2,673

 

The Quezon City government on Monday reported that, based on data from the  Department of Health, there are 2,673 confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the city.

There are 2,592 confirmed cases with complete addresses in Quezon City while there are 2,553 cases validated by the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices.

As of Monday, there are 971 active COVID-19 cases in the city.

As of June 15, 2020 at 7 p.m. Quezon City has 65 new recoveries bringing the total number of recoveries in the city to 1,369.

There are five reported new cases of death, bringing the the total number of deaths to 213.

Quarantine facility

The HOPE 1 quarantine facility has 3 available beds for COVID-19 confirmed and suspected patients. There are 34 confirmed patients, 4 suspected and probable patients in HOPE 1 facility.

At the HOPE 2 quarantine facility, 201 beds are occupied by confirmed and suspected COVID-19 patients while 93 beds are available. Those who have been tested in QC’s community-based testing are brought in HOPE 2 for self-isolation while waiting for their results.

The HOPE 3 facility opened to accommodate confirmed and suspected COVID-19 nursing mothers and their babies. The facility is equipped with 84 beds, cribs, bassinets, and other baby essentials. As of June 15, a total of 66 patients are admitted in the facility. -- BAP, GMA News
