Quezon City COVID-19 cases now at 2,965

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Quezon City climbed to 2,965 on Tuesday, based on figures from the Department of Health.

Of this number, 2,886 cases have complete addresses in the city, the Quezon City government said in its 8 a.m. bulletin.

The QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices has also validated 2,849 cases.

The active cases, meanwhile, totaled 971.

The city government also said there were 121 new recoveries reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,658.

The death toll also rose to 220 after three new fatalities were recorded.

The following areas remain under lockdown due to the high number of COVID-19 cases:
