MRT3 resumes ops after power interruption delays first trip

The Metro Rail Transit 3 had to stop operations early Friday morning due to a power interruption, inconveniencing commuters, many of them on their way to work, according to Mai Bermudez's report on Unang Balita.

The first MRT3 trip to Taft Avenue in Pasay City was supposed to leave the North Avenue Station in Quezon City a little over 5 a.m., but it was delayed for hours due to the power interruption.

Operations resumed past around 8 a.m., Bermudez said on Twitter.

Affected commuters had to find alternative ways to reach their destinations. —KBK, GMA News
