How did tension start between cops, LGBT protesters in Manila
Tension started between policemen and LGBT rallyists in Mendiola, Manila after a cop supposedly grabbed from behind one of the protesters.
Super Radyo dzBB reporter Isa Umali tweeted a photo with a caption saying that a man was requesting the police to let the speakers of the event finish their respective speeches.
However, one of the cops allegedly suddenly grabbed and arrested the man.

This was in contrast to the claim of the Manila Police District that the tension started because one of the rallyists allegedly sprayed a liquid substance at one of the cops.
GMA News Online has sought the comment of MPD on the matter.
A supposed intern was also among those arrested by police officers for taking photos of the incident. Police said they have been verifying this.
