COVID-19 cases in Quezon City climb to 3,188

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Quezon City based on data from the Department of Health reached 3,188 on Saturday morning, the Quezon City Local Government said.

Those with complete addresses in Quezon City were 3,110, while the number of active cases is 1,032.

A total of 3,078 cases have been validated by the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices.

The number of recoveries rose by 40 on Saturday, bringing the total number to 1,818.

The death toll meanwhile increased to 228 after two new deaths were reported.

The QC LGU also said the following areas remain under special concern lockdown due to the high number and clustering of cases of COVID-19:

• Calle 29 in Libis
• Kaingin Bukid in Apolonio Samson
