2 residential buildings on lockdown in Muntinlupa

Two residential buildings in Alabang, Muntinlupa have been placed on lockdown or enhanced localized community quarantine due to the fast transmission of COVID-19 in the area.

Citing information from city health officer Tess Culiao, Super Radyo dzBB’s Glen Juego reported that the lockdown started from 12 noon of Tuesday and will last until July 22.


The report said 15 COVID-19 cases were recorded in Filinvest Socialized Housing Complex Building 1 and 7 where there are children, senior citizens, and pregnant women.

The report also said 80 families or 300 individuals will be affected by the lockdown.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi vowed that assistance would be provided to the affected residents.

So far, Muntinlupa City has 505 COVID-19 cases, with 39 deaths and 306 recoveries.—AOL, GMA News
