Divisoria vendor gets creative in COVID-19 protection

A vendor in Divisoria has found a creative way to shield himself from COVID-19.

As seen on photos posted by Super Radyo dzBB's Isa Avendaño-Umali on social media, Sammy Leuterio uses a plastic shield to protect himself as he plies the area Divisoria selling wallets and pouches.

Mang Sammy is part of the informal sector that is trying to eke out a living uner the cloud of COVID-19 that has so far infected over 50,000 people in the Philippines with over 1,000 deaths.

The months-long lockdown that was implemented to contain the spread of the virus has resulted in massive layoffs in various industries. —KBK, GMA News
