Quezon City COVID-19 cases now at 4,421

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 cases in Quezon City climbed to 4,421 on Sunday, based on the figures from the Department of Health.

Of this number, 4,346 cases have complete addresses in the city, while the total number of infections validated by the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and district health offices is at 4,314.

So far, there are 1,642 active cases in the city.

The city government also said there were 31 new recoveries reported, bringing the total number of survivors to 2,415.

The death toll also increased to 257 after one new fatality was recorded.

Quarantine facilities

As of July 12, the HOPE 1  and HOPE 2 quarantine facilities have reached their full capacity.

Those who have been tested in QC’s community-based testing centers are brought in HOPE 2 for self-isolation while waiting for their results.

Meanwhile, HOPE 3, which was recently opened to accommodate confirmed and suspected COVID-19 nursing mothers and their babies, has 14 available beds for patients.

  • Maparaan St. to 87 Kalayaan St. in Central
  • Ruby Stone HOA in Kaligayahan
