COVID-19 cases in QC now at 4,646

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Quezon City rose to 4,646, according to the city government on Wednesday.

Of the number, 1,772 are active cases. The city government also reported 28 additional recoveries, bringing the total number to 2,511.


The death toll, meanwhile, increased to 263 after three new fatalities were recorded.

A total of 4,571 patients have complete addresses in the city, while the cases validated by the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and district health offices are 4,546.

Quarantine facilities and hospitals’ bed capacity

As of July 15, HOPE 1 and HOPE 2 quarantine facilities have reached full bed capacity.

HOPE 3, on the other hand, still has 15 beds available for confirmed and suspected COVID-19 patients.

Meanwhile, the Novaliches District Hospital still has one bed available.

As of July 14, the Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital and the Quezon City General Hospital still have 10 and 26 beds available, respectively.

The following areas remain under lockdown due to the high number of COVID-19 cases:

  •     Loans St., Alley 4, in Sangandaan
  •     70 Mendez Road in Baesa
  •     FVR Building along Guirayan Street in Dona Imelda
  •     Fatima St., cor. Liwanag in San Vicente
  •     14G Maayusin Ext. in San Vicente
  •     Maparaan St. to 87 Kalayaan St. in Central
  •     Ruby Stone HOA in Kaligayahan
  •     127 Rebisco Road in Nagkaisang Nayon (starting July 14)
