Thousands of LSIs gather in Manila prior to their trips home

Thousands of locally stranded individuals (LSIs) are being gathered at the baseball stadium of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex on Saturday, July 25, 2020 to prepare them for trips to their home provinces under the second batch of the government's "Hatid Tulong program."

The group consists of those who had been temporarily sheltered at Philippine Army Gymnasium of the Villamor Air Base Elementary School, Manila Science High School, and a few walk-in LSIs

They are scheduled to be brought home after undergoing rapid test for COVID-19, authorities said. —with a report from Danny Pata/LBG, GMA News
