Quezon City’s COVID-19 tally rises to 6,080


The total number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Quezon City climbed to 6,080, the local government announced Sunday.

Total recoveries also rose to 3,203 after 42 more patients recovered from the respiratory disease, while the death toll rose to 292 with three new fatalities.

The remaining 2,486 are active cases undergoing treatment or quarantine.

The QC government also said 6,005 of the 6,080 COVID-19 patients have been confirmed to have complete addresses within the city, while the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices validated 5,981 cases.

Nationwide, the Department of Health (DOH) tallied 80,448 COVID-19 cases with 26,110 recoveries and 1,932 deaths. — DVM, GMA News
