Some Marikina barangay captains reprimanded over quarantine violations — mayor

Marikina City Mayor Marcelino Teodoro on Wednesday said some barangay captains have been reprimanded following reports of alleged violations of quarantine protocols in their areas.

Interviewed on Dobol B sa News TV, Teodoro was asked about the alleged mass gathering, such as drinking spree and videoke in certain barangays.

"Bawal 'yan.

Teodoro said similar incidents were also reported two weeks ago and he said local officials already acted on the matter.

The mayor also reminded policemen to do their duties in enforcing quarantine protocols or else they could be suspended or transferred to other areas.
