Cargo vessel rams into pier of North Harbor Port, PCG says
A cargo vessel rammed into the pier of Manila North Harbor Port, Inc., the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Monday.
The PCG said the vessel involved was MV Ocean Abundance, owned by Oceanic Container Lines Inc. It said the vessel has damaged five to ten meters of Pier 2 of the said port.

Based on initial probe, the PCG said MV Ocean Abundance had an engine problem wherein the reverse function of the vessel supposedly did not work.
"The bow of the vessel and the pier was damaged. There is no trace of oil spill in the area," it said.
The incident is still being looked into, according to the PCG.—AOL, GMA News
