Pasig City General Hospital's ER shut down as some staff go on quarantine

The emergency room of Pasig City General Hospital will be temporarily closed as a number of its employees needed to undergo quarantine after being exposed to COVID-19.

In a Twitter post, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said the hospital’s emergency room will be closed from Saturday, August 15 to Wednesday, August 19.

“Iniiwasan natin ang ganitong pagsara ng ER, pero marami po sa kanila ang kailangan mag-quarantine,” Sotto said.

“Kung mananatili silang bukas ay masasakripisyo rin ang kanilang serbisyo sa mga pasyente. Sa inyong pag-unawa. Let us continue to support and pray for out frontliners,” he added.
