The Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group Region IV-A (PNP- ACG IV-A) on Tuesday arrested a salon owner, who introduces himself as a woman online, for allegedly blackmailing a government employee through a dating application.

According to John Consulta’s report on “24 Oras” on Tuesday, suspect Ryan Carlos created a fake account posing as a woman to attract the victim.

Carlos, who introduced  then encourages the victim to do obscene activities while he secretly records it.

A Chief Police Colonel Julius Suriben said.

After recording the video, Carlos began blackmailing the victim for money.
