Another suspect in the killing of two nursing graduates and one nursing student in Caloocan City surrendered to the Quezon City Police District Station 6 on Thursday.

QCPD chief Police Brigadier General Ronnie Montejo identified the suspect as 38-year-old Ronald Cajepe, a construction worker. Montejo said Cajepe surrendered to Police Major Sandie Caparroso, deputy station commander of Station 6 at 12:10 p.m.

Montejo said the suspect had confessed his participation in killing the three victims in a subdivision in North Caloocan last month. Cajepe was bothered by his conscience so he chose to surrender to authorities.

Cajepe was turned over to the Caloocan City Police Station for proper disposition.

Victims Glydl Belonio, Arjay Belencio, and Mona Habibolla were stabbed to death inside a house being constructed in Amparo Subdivision.

On Tuesday, Anselmo Singkol, who was earlier considered to be a person of interest in the crime, had also surrendered to the police.

He admitted that he was one of those who had planned the crime but he denied that he was one of those who killed the victims.

Caloocan Police chief Police Colonel Dario Menor said Singkol was pointing to Cajepe as the one responsible for the slay.

In a Super Radyo dzBB report by Glen Juego, Cajepe denied Singkol's allegation.

Cajepe said Singkol even asked him to stab the victims but he said he was in shock of what happened. He also mentioned that Singkol had planned the crime for a long time.

He admitted that he is using illegal drugs but on the day of the incident, he was not under the influence of narcotics.
