MMDA to shut down two more U-turn slots on EDSA on Monday, NOv. 23, 2020

Two more U-turn slots along EDSA are set to be closed next week to make way for the bus way project, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

According to Jamie Santos’ report on “24 Oras” on Friday, the U-turn slots near Oliveros Drive and Balintawak Market will be closed to vehicular traffic starting November 23.

Several motorists lamented the development.

Mas malayo, mas mabigat ang trapiko,” Davey Sican, a driver, said.

Delivery riders said the closing of the U-turn slots would reduce their income.
