EDSA U-turns near Oliveros Drive, Balintawak Market to be closed

The EDSA U-turn slots near the Oliveros Drive and Balintawak Market in Quezon City will be closed starting 12 a.m. Monday.

According to a “24 Oras Weekend” report on Sunday, these were the latest U-turn slots to be closed to give way for the EDSA Busway.

Motorists headed south can pass through the Balintawak Interchange or the General Malvar Bagong Barrio u-turn slot.

Meanwhile, those northbound can use the u-turn slot near General Tinio Street.

The Metro Manila Development Authority earlier said the closure of U-turn slots along EDSA will be completed by December. — Julia Mari Ornedo/DV, GMA News
