Social distancing hardly observed as shoppers pack Divisoria street

Despite appeals from authorities including Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, shoppers still packed Divisoria on Monday, November 30, 2020, hardly observing social distancing.

As seen on video posted by GMA News' Tina Panganiban-Perez on Twitter, people seem to pay no mind to the tarpaulin put up by barangay officials on Ilaya Street urging shoppers to practice health protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moreno had earlier appealed to marketgoers

in Divisoria and other public markets in Manila to observe health protocols especially social distancing.
