Christine Dacera's mom thinks one of the respondents could have done more to save her

Sharon Dacera, the bereaved mother of Christine Dacera, said her daughter's friends could have done more when the flight attendant felt odd and suspected that something was put in her drink.

In a television interview Tuesday, Sharon specifically mentioned Rommel Galido, whom Christine talked to when she suspected that one Mark Anthony Rosales put something in her drink.

"Sana kung nalaman niyang nagkasakit-sakit ang ulo ng anak ko, mayroon namang clinic siguro 'yung hotel para magtawag siya doon sa information desk para magpatulong. Usually may gano'n diba? Bakit hindi niya 'yun ginawa?" Sharon told ANC.

Galido earlier admitted that he had dismissed Dacera's allegation and just went back to sleep.

“Tumabi siya sa 'kin, then sabi niya, ‘Sis, parang I feel something. Parang naiiba ‘yung pakiramdam ko.’ I think merong naglagay sa drink niya, sabi niya sa 'kin. Then sabi ko, ‘Who?’ And then sabi niya, ‘I think Mark,’” Galido had said.

The mother appealed to Galido to tell the truth as to what really happened to the flight attendant.

"As of now, ang masasabi ko lang po, magsalita nang totoo si Rommel. 'Yun ang tanging kahilingan ko sa kanya, kung friend at little sister niya si Christine kasi sabi ko sila ang kasama ni Christine the moment na nangyari din sa anak ko," she said.

Meanwhile, Sharon still believes that her daughter was raped before she died contrary to the initial medical report stating that Christine died of ruptured aortic aneurysm

"Para sa akin, ni-rape po ang anak ko. 'Pag nakita mo 'yung katawan ni Christine, you will surely... if you are the mother, you will surely feel the pain Christine suffered from them. My daughter cannot speak anymore because she died," Sharon said.

On Monday, the National Bureau of Investigation said the second autopsy performed on Christine Dacera yielded bodily fluids, saying that a crime was committed in that incident. —KG, GMA News
