Driver's assistant run over, killed by his truck along QC highway

A truck driver's assistant was killed as he was run over by his  truck  along a highway in Quezon City.

According to a"24 Oras Weekend" report, the truck had run over and was dragging a plastic barrier along the highway, which was why two men on a motorcycle chased after the truck.

The driver's assistant alighted from the truck to remove the barrier, but a quarrel broke out between him and the motorcyclists.

As the assistant ran alongside the truck, which had started moving down the highway, the motorcyclist ran along with him until the assistant fell under the truck and was run over.

The truck driver, a certain Allan Paguspan, claimed the two men pushed his assistant into the truck's path.

Paguspane could be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
