During the LECQ, personnel of the Makati City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU) will go house-to-house to conduct swab testing on residents in affected areas.

Residents will not be allowed to leave their homes without authorization.

Those who test positive for COVID-19 will be brought to a quarantine facility to avoid passing on the virus to other members of the family, the local government said.

The LGU will also give food packs to families affected by the lockdown.

Meanwhile, personnel of the Makati Public Safety Department (PSD) will patrol the areas under lockdown to ensure only persons authorized to leave their houses do so.

Residents may have food and medicines delivered to their homes by coordinating with delivery or courier services. PSD personnel will bring these to the houses.

As of March 12, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Makati reached 12,339.

Of this number, 11,140 have recovered while 440 died. The active cases are 759.
