Mandaluyong bans sale of alcohol during curfew hours from March 15 to March 31, 2021

Selling alcohol in Mandaluyong has been prohibited during the curfew hours of 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from March 15 until March 31.

In a memorandum order, Mayor Carmelita Abalos said the sale, service, or delivery  of alcohol, wine, beer, liquor, and other intoxicating beverages would be banned during the time period.

Also, the consumption of these intoxicating beverages in public places are also prohibited.

“No person shall invite guests or visitors for drinking session inside their private residences,” the memorandum read.

The unified curfew hours in the National Capital Region is set at 10 p.m. to  5 a.m.

According to Abalos, the stricter measures are in light of the surge of COVID-19 cases in the region. -NB, GMA News
