QC to resume vaccination of healthcare workers, individuals with comorbidities on April 4

The vaccination of healthcare workers and persons with comorbidities aged 18 to 59 will resume on Sunday, April 4, the Quezon City Government announced Friday.

Meanwhile, senior citizens were advised to refrain from going to the vaccination site as they will not be accommodated.

“You will not be accommodated in our vaccination sites as the Department of Health does not recommend Sinovac for senior citizens,” the local government said.

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte earlier announced that the city will receive an additional 2,000 doses of Astrazeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine next week. -- BAP, GMA News
