P120-M worth of high-grade shabu seized in Las Piñas

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Friday seized more than P120 million worth of high-grade shabu in a buy-bust operation in Las Piñas.

According to John Consulta’s report on “24 Oras,” the operation led to the arrest of the primary target, Reyano Oraid, from Zamboanga, and his four companions.

Authorities retrieved seven kilos of shabu from a car and 11 kilos of shabu from the house of the suspects in a subdivision in the city.

Gregorio Pimentel, PDEA director general for operations, said the suspects used numerous techniques to proliferate drugs.

“Using a lot of covers and modus operandi just to dispose of this volume of drugs.

Meanwhile, the primary suspect denied owning the drugs.

Marami pa tayong ongoing operations,” he said.
