Taguig opens 4th mega vaccination hub at BGC

The city government of Taguig on Wednesday opened its fourth mega vaccination hub at the Bonifacio High Street.

In a statement, Taguig City announced that it has opened a vaccination center on the second floor of B7, Lane P,  Bonifacio High Street East in Fort Bonifacio, which can accommodate 400 people from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.

This is the eighth vaccination center in the city and was established in partnership with AC Health of the Ayala Group.

Taguig City Mayor Lino Cayetano thanked the Ayala Group for committing with the local government unit to reach more people by putting up accessible vaccination hubs.

Three mega vaccination centers are already being operated at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura, Lakeshore area, and Vista Mall Parking Building.

Meanwhile, community vaccine centers at RP Cruz Elementary School, Maharlika Elementary School, EM's Signal Village Elementary School, and Western Bicutan National High School continue to serve Taguig residents.

Apart from the vaccination hubs, the Taguig LGU has also launched the Mobile Vaccination Bus to accommodate 200 people per day.

Taguig has vaccinated 29,603 residents from the A1, A2, and A3 categories as of April 26.

This was composed of 9,958 healthcare workers, 9,880 senior citizens, and 10,157 persons with comorbidities.

It has also provided a second dose of COVID-19 vaccines to 1,517 Taguig residents.
