Fake face shields worth P70M seized in Parañaque City warehouse
Some P70 million worth of alleged fake face shields were seized by authorities in a warehouse in Parañaque City.
The boxes of face shields were seized on Thursday by the National Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Customs and the Philippine Coast Guard at the warehouse, which is believed to be the source of fake PPEs in the market, according to a report by Joseph Morong on Stand For Truth on Friday.
The owners of the warehouse were not present when authorities arrived.

The items bore the brand name of a popular face shield, according to a report by Sam Nielsen of Super Radyo dzBB.

Meanwhile, around three tons of used surgical gloves were discovered in Tanza, Cavite.
Authorities suspect the gloves were being cleaned for reselling.
