QC launches new vaccine registration portal

By JOAHNA LEI CASILAO,GMA News

The Quezon City Government on Friday launched a new vaccine registration portal that seeks to assist residents who are having trouble booking vaccination slots following the technical problems of the eZConsult system.

The LGU said residents may register through the QC Vax Easy by filling in the form at this link: https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/qcvaxeasy

“In light of the various difficulties that our people are experiencing in the barangay-assisted booking and online booking, this QC Vax Easy portal will aid us in registering QC residents and workers into the vaccination program,” City Administrator Michael Alimurung said in a statement.

Instead of choosing their own schedule, registrants who have filled in the form will be given a schedule and vaccination site by the City Health Department, depending on the availability of vaccine supply.

Registrants will also be prioritized based on their priority group.

According to QC Mayor Joy Belmonte, the QC Vax Easy will be an alternative or additional mode of the registration process. However, the EzConsult and the barangay-assisted booking schemes are still operational.

“Pending another round of online booking to test eZconsult’s system upgrade, we are offering QC Vax Easy as an option,” Belmonte said.

“With this new registration system, we are reducing the difficulty of manually booking your slots. Just register and wait for the city government to contact you for your schedule,” she added.

Individuals who registered under the QC Vax Easy system may become the substitutes of scheduled registrants who will not show up on the day of their vaccination.

The local government said documents such as proof of residence or employment in Quezon City are still required upon arrival at the vaccination sites. — RSJ, GMA News
