QC cops nab suspect who crashed into several vehicles during car chase

A suspect who crashed into several vehicles as he led police in a car chase was finally captured and brought to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 10, according to Allan Gatus’ report on Super Radyo dzBB.

Initial information alleged that the suspect, identified as Arvin Tan, created a scene and became combative at a Timog Avenue motel.

When police arrived, Tan attempted to evade the cops and roared off in his vehicle.

Police chased him to Morayta Street in Manila.

Before being caught, the suspect hit several vehicles, including two QCPD police vehicles, as well as a tricycle, injuring its driver.

The driver was rushed to hospital.

Meanwhile, the suspect presented an ID from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

In a phone call with GMA News Online, DILG Undersecretary Martin Dino said they would verify if the suspect is indeed a department employee.

He also said that the suspect would be held accountable for the charges filed against him.
