Taguig gives scholarship vouchers, cash incentives to graduating students

The local government of Taguig City gave scholarship vouchers and cash incentives to graduating and top students from the city's public high schools.

The P15,000 worth of scholarship voucher could be used for the graduating Grade 12 student's chosen college or university.

According to Mayor Lino Cayetano on Monday, the voucher entitles the bearer to claim the amount of P15,000 under the Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-Need (LANI) scholarship program, provided that the student enrolls in any technical-vocational, certificate, or baccalaureate course.

"This voucher is part of the L.A.N.I Scholarship Program that persuades graduates to take up  tertiary education. To our beloved students, we have faced so much this year, let us get inspiration from this graduation," the mayor said.

"We will not abandon you. We are a loving and nurturing community, we are one family," Cayetano added.
