Marikina cancels COVID-19 vaccination on July 26 and 27

The Marikina City government announced the cancellation of COVID-19 vaccination activities on Monday, July 26, up to Tuesday, July 27.

The announcement came after heavy rains from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) caused the water level at Marikina River to go up over the weekend. The city government raised the second alarm at one point.

Those with prior schedules of vaccination on July 26 and 27 were asked to proceed to their designated vaccination centers on Saturday, July 31 instead, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Monday.
