Fire hits FDA storage in Muntinlupa

A fire hit the storage area of the Food and Drug Administration in Muntinlupa City on Monday night.

The first alarm was raised at 7:35 p.m., according to the Bureau of Fire Protection-Muntinlupa.

At 7:55 p.m., the fire was placed under control, and fire out was declared at 8:08 p.m. 

The affected area is the one-storey Feed Storage Room of the FDA in Filinvest Corporate City in Alabang.

No one was injured in the fire.

The BFP Muntinlupa said the fire was sparked by the feed dryer machine, but added that investigation is still ongoing.

Estimated damage was placed at more or less P100,000. —KG, GMA News
