Pasay Rep. Calixto tests positive for COVID-19

Pasay City Representative Antonino Calixto on Wednesday disclosed that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Calixto, who is experiencing a mild case of COVID-19, is currently placed in isolation. He immediately sought medical attention after experiencing mild cough last Monday.

The lawmaker said his close contacts, including his immediate family members, had undergone swab tests and were found to be negative of the coronavirus.

However, they will still stay at home for 14 days as advised by the doctors, Calixto said.

Those working in his office and those who personally met him recently also had COVID-19 tests and were also advised to stay at home.

Meanwhile, he said his sister, Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, was not present in that meeting.
