Manila suspends work at city hall due to Jolina

Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso on Wednesday ordered the suspension of work at city hall due to inclement weather brought by Severe Tropical Storm Jolina.

"All employees have been ordered to go home as of 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 8," according to a Facebook post by the Manila Public Information Office.

The directive, however, does not cover employees from offices involved in disaster and emergency response, as well as medical services.
