Minors aged 17 and below allowed to stroll in Quezon Memorial Circle

The Quezon City government announced on Wednesday that minors aged 17 and below are now allowed to stroll in Quezon Memorial Circle.

In an advisory, the Quezon City government said minors are allowed to visit the Memorial Circle provided that they are accompanied by their parents or guardian at all times.

The city government, however, said the park will only accommodate up to 30% of its capacity.

The Metro Manila Council (MMC) on Tuesday approved the intrazonal and interzonal travel of minors, provided that they are accompanied by adult guardians.

Intrazonal travel refers to the movement of people, goods and services between localities under the same community quarantine classification, while interzonal travel refers to the movement of people, goods and services between provinces, highly urbanized cities, and independent component cities under different community quarantine classification.

The government earlier approved the recommendation to place the National Capital Region (NCR) under Alert Level 3 beginning October 16 until 31.

Under Alert Level 3, several establishments will be allowed to operate at 30% indoor venue capacity only for fully vaccinated individuals and 50% outdoor venue capacity, provided that all employees are fully vaccinated.
