Nearly 55,000 violators recorded in NCR amid Alert Level 3 — PNP

Almost 55,000 quarantine violators have been recorded in the National Capital Region (NCR) since the implementation of Alert Level 3, data from the Philippine National Police (PNP) showed Friday.

As of Thursday, the PNP said a total of 54,971 violators have been recorded in Metro Manila including 8,834 that were newly reported, with a daily average of 9,162 violators.

Around 55% of the violators were warned, 37% were fined, while 8% faced other sanctions.

A total of 40,497 violators or 6,750 daily have violated the minimum public health standards in NCR amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

For curfew, a total of 14,126 violators or 2,354 daily were recorded in Metro Manila.

A total of 348 who are not considered authorized persons outside residence (APORs) were also caught outdoors.

Starting October 16 until October 31, the NCR is under Alert Level 3.

Several establishments will be allowed to operate at 30% indoor venue capacity only for fully vaccinated individuals and 50% outdoor venue capacity, provided that all employees are fully vaccinated.
